Whilst prizes will be allocated and golf played as per the rules this is set up to be a friendly welcoming format. 

Fiji Golf Tour – Itinerary

Location: InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa
Course: Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course
Duration: 6 Days

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome

• Resort Check-In: From 2:00 PM

• Welcome Event: Traditional Fijian ceremony with music, dance, and cultural performances

• Dinner & drinks with fellow guests

• Relax and soak in ocean views

Day 2: Golf 

• Tee Time: 8:00 AM – Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course

• Golf carts included

• Daily prizes and presentations

Day 3: Golf 

• Tee Time: 8:00 AM – Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course

Day 4

• Free day to relax or explore:

  • Natadola Beach

  • Spa treatments

  • Boat cruises or snorkeling along the Coral Coast

Day 5: Final Golf & Presentation

• Tee Time: 8:00 AM – Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course

1. Pack for Sun & Rain

• Fiji’s weather is tropical – lightweight, breathable clothing is a must.
• Bring a waterproof jacket just in case of a sudden tropical shower.
• Don’t forget sunblock, a hat, and polarized sunglasses for those oceanfront fairways.

2. Golf Gear

• Bring your clubs if you prefer your own, but Natadola Bay provides rental clubs.
• Make sure shoes are comfortable for hilly terrain and sand traps.
• A small golf umbrella is handy for sun or light rain.

3. Tee Time Tips

• Early morning tee times (like 8:00 AM) are ideal: cooler temperatures and calmer winds.
• Book tee times in advance through the resort to secure preferred slots.

4. Hydration & Snacks

• Carry water and light snacks – the tropical sun can be deceptive, and walking 18 holes is no joke.
• Clubhouse has drinks and food, but small personal items can keep energy up on the course.

5. Local Currency & Payments

• Fijian Dollar (FJD) is the local currency.
• Credit cards are widely accepted, but carrying some cash for small purchases or tips is smart.

6. Cultural Respect

• Fijians are warm and welcoming – a smile and “Bula!” go a long way.
• Respect local customs, especially when visiting villages or attending traditional ceremonies.

7. Transportation

• The InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is remote, so pre-arranged transport or shuttles are recommended.
• Use resort shuttles or trusted taxi services for trips off-site.

• Take advantage of rest days to recover from travel, enjoy the beach, or try a spa treatment.
• Explore nearby Coral Coast activities: snorkeling, boat cruises, or village visits.

9. Electronic Essentials

• Fiji uses Type I outlets (230V) – bring adapters for chargers and electronics.
• Consider a portable battery pack for long days on the course or sightseeing.

10. Safety on the Course

• Fairways at Natadola Bay can be exposed to coastal winds – adjust club selection accordingly.
• Watch for wet or uneven areas near sand traps and greens after rain.
• Respect course rules and pace of play – Natadola Bay is a championship course that attracts serious golfers.
