Jet Set Golf – Booking Terms & Conditions

1. General Agreement
These Terms & Conditions apply to the person making a booking (“the booker”) and all other people included in the booking. By booking with Jet Set Golf — whether by phone, fax, online, or email — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
In this document, Jet Set Golf Pty Ltd is referred to as Jet Set Golf or Event Organisers. Any reference to you means you, the booker, who is contracting with Jet Set Golf either for yourself or on behalf of others.
The “Event Start Date” means the official start date of any tour, tournament, or custom golf vacation as stated on the Jet Set Golf website or your itinerary. A “Package” means any tour, tournament or golf holiday arranged by Jet Set Golf.
2. Formation & Variation of Contract
Once any payment is made, a binding contract is created between you and Jet Set Golf, with duties and obligations on both sides under these terms. Jet Set Golf may update these Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary, with changes effective once published on our website.
3. Payment Terms
All events and tours have stated different payment options and terms. These must be followed and further to that full payment for any tour must be completed 59 days prior to the tour.
Some tours may have different or additional deposit requirements — these will be outlined in your itinerary or booking confirmation.
4. Hassle-Free Booking
We understand plans change, so our Hassle-Free Booking allows flexibility to adjust your arrangements or rebook where possible.
Unless otherwise specified:
Local 1-Day events
- 100% credit within 7 days of booking. (if 30+ days before event)
- Full or partial credit available for cancellations depending on timing & waitlist.
- Credit valid for 12 months across any Jet Set Golf events or packages.
International or Multi-Day events
- Cancel 56 days or more before departure: 100% refund less any transaction fees incurred by Jet Set Golf.
- Cancel 30–55 days before departure: 20% fee applies plus transaction fees incurred by Jet Set Golf.
- Cancel 29 days or less before departure: 100% fee applies.
If specific cancellation conditions apply due to supplier contracts, these will be clearly communicated at booking.
5. Cancellations by You
Cancellations must be in writing to Jet Set Golf. You have a 48-hour cooling-off period after booking to cancel by phone or email and receive a full refund of all payments made.
Outside this credits may be applied depending on if you position can be filled or timing of the cancellation.
6. Transfer of Booking
If you can’t travel, you may transfer your booking to another golfer at any time, free of Jet Set Golf fees. Note: you may still be liable for any third-party costs (e.g., airlines) that require name changes.
7. Minimum Numbers & Trip Cancellation
If Jet Set Golf cancels a tour or tournament because minimum numbers aren’t met, a full refund will be issued.
8. Payments
Payments can be made by bank transfer, or via our credit card merchant facility.
If your tour is priced in foreign currency, we’ll advise the exchange rate on the payment date.
9. Travel Insurance
Travel always carries risks — you must have suitable travel insurance at the time of booking. Keep your policy number and emergency contacts with you and leave a copy with family or a friend. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, advise us — you may need a doctor’s certificate and extra premium to ensure you’re covered.
10. Unavailable Services
Jet Set Golf is committed to delivering the experience promised. In the unlikely event that services (like accommodation or golf courses) become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ll find a suitable alternative of equal or better standard where feasible. Any changes will be communicated transparently.
11. Pricing
All prices are per person unless otherwise stated. Packages are costed well in advance; prices and availability may change due to factors beyond our control, including supplier issues or tax changes. We reserve the right to adjust prices if necessary and will communicate changes promptly.
12. Refunds
No refunds are available once your trip has commenced, or for unused services. Weather disruptions affecting golf rounds or tournaments will be refunded only if the supplier refunds us. All options will be exhausted to make sure you are remunerated fairly.
13. Limit of Liability
Jet Set Golf acts solely as an agent for third-party operators (hotels, golf courses, transport, etc.) and is not liable for their acts or omissions. Our responsibility is limited to arranging your travel in good faith with reputable suppliers.
Jet Set Golf accepts no liability for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our control — including, but not limited to, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government actions, natural disasters, machinery failure, or industrial action.
If services change due to such circumstances, we will source alternatives of a similar standard wherever possible.
14. Official Handicaps
For tours or tournaments with competition elements, you must provide access to your official handicap endorsed by your national golf association. Event Organisers may review your 12-month playing history and approve, adjust or deny handicaps where necessary.
15. Visas & Passports
You’re responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, including passports (with at least 6 months validity) and visas for all destinations and transit points. Jet Set Golf accepts no liability if you’re denied entry due to incorrect documentation.
16. Behaviour & Responsibilities
If your behaviour, in the reasonable opinion of Jet Set Golf or our suppliers, endangers yourself or others, breaches laws, causes damage, or creates a public nuisance, we may immediately cancel your booking without refund.
17. Prizes & Promotions
All prizes comply with amateur golf status rules. Promotional giveaways are available only to Jet Set Golf members/customers and are not for separate sale. Early bird promotional items will be distributed on the Event Start Date. If you cancel or fail to pay your balance by the due date, you forfeit any early bird items.
18. Media & Promotion
You consent to Jet Set Golf using photos or video of you for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
19. Indemnity & Risk
You and your guests participate at your own risk. Jet Set Golf and its suppliers accept no liability for death, injury, loss or damage.
To drive a motorised cart, you must hold a valid driver’s licence and have driven a golf cart at least five times. You are liable for any damage to carts, property, or personal injuries caused while operating a cart.
20. Special Requirements
Please notify Jet Set Golf in writing of any special needs or medical conditions before travel so we can plan suitable arrangements. We’re not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed requirements. Participants must be fit to travel and responsible for their own health during the trip.
If a course is ‘walking only’ but you need a cart for medical reasons, you must supply a valid medical certificate in advance — availability cannot be guaranteed.
21. Host’s Duty of Care
Jet Set Golf’s hosts accompany you during scheduled activities but have no duty of care during your unsupervised, personal time. Third-party operators may provide additional services — while we select reputable partners, we do not accept liability for their acts or omissions.
22. Reselling
Resale of Jet Set Golf packages is not permitted without written consent. We may authorise partners worldwide to promote our services.
23. Force Majeure
Jet Set Golf is not liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations due to causes beyond our control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, terrorism, war, or government actions. If a Force Majeure event occurs, we will notify affected guests promptly and make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives or credits. If no solution is agreed upon, either party may terminate the booking without penalty. Jet Set Golf is not liable for losses arising from Force Majeure except where required by law.
Goods & Services Tax (GST)
All prices include Australian GST where applicable.
Events Beyond Our Control
Jet Set Golf is not liable for any losses or inconvenience caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to terrorism, civil unrest, acts of God, or industrial disputes.
Destination Safety
Jet Set Golf does not guarantee the safety of any destination. Always check official travel advice (e.g. Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade) before travelling.
Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions form the basis of your contract with Jet Set Golf. They may only be amended in writing.
