Red Mountain Golf Club

Highlights include the par-3 17th with a 150-foot drop from tee to green, and risk-reward holes like the par-5 2nd and par-4 6th. Laguna Golf Phuket
Laguna Golf Phuket is ranked #6 and won Asia’s Best Renovated Golf Course in 2015. Located in the luxurious Laguna Phuket resort area near Bang Tao Beach, it offers a polished, resort-style experience. The course features wide fairways and undulating greens that cater to all skill levels. Highlights include the par-4 9th with a water hazard along the left side and the dramatic par-5 18th. The course is highly playable, beautifully landscaped, and ideal for a relaxed yet rewarding round.

1) Entry / visa basics
Most Australian passport holders get a visa-exemption entry (check your nationality). Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before travel - it replaced the old paper arrival card and must be done in advance. (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) Passport: make sure it's valid at least 6 months from your arrival date and has blank pages. Carry proof of onward travel and accommodation bookings - immigration may ask for return/exit tickets and hotel confirmations; some visitors are also asked to show evidence of funds.
2) Visas / extra authorisations
If you plan to stay longer than the visa-exempt period, or your situation is special, apply for the correct tourist visa or ETA well before departure. Rules change, so double-check with the Thai embassy/official site.
3) Flying with golf clubs
Check your airline's sports equipment policy and pre-book any oversized baggage allowance. Many full service carriers allow golf bags as non-standard baggage but rules/fees vary - book ahead to avoid surprises.
4) Travel insurance & health
Buy travel insurance that covers golf (club loss/damage), medical evacuation, and tournament activity. Vaccinations: ensure routine shots are up to date and consult doctor for advice on travelling with medication.
5) Money, tips & local currency
Carry some Thai Baht (small notes) for caddie tips, taxis and local purchases. Electronic payments are widely accepted in resorts/cities but smaller vendors may be cash only. Caddie tipping is customary - bring small THB notes.
6) Packing & golf kit
Pack a rain jacket/umbrella (April can have short tropical showers), sunscreen, wide-brim hat, insect repellent, and quick-dry golf shirts. Bring a basic repair kit (spare tees, ball markers) and a lightweight travel cover for golf bags. Photograph club serials and racket/bag contents for insurance claims.
7) Electronics & power
Phuket commonly uses Type C / O (and sometimes A/B) sockets; voltage 220V. Bring an adapter and a dual-voltage charger for shavers/straighteners.
8) Communications
Buy a local SIM or eSIM at the airport (good value) or pre-order eSIMs so your group has WhatsApp/phone data for transfers and day-of coordination.
9) On-the-ground tips
Stay hydrated and pace yourself in the heat; schedule sunscreen re-application on the course. Respect local customs during Songkran (if your trip overlaps) - it's a joyous water festival; be prepared to get wet and protect valuables in waterproof pouches. Keep copies of passports, travel insurance and emergency contacts (both printed and digital).

Cancellations by You
Cancellations must be in writing to Jet Set Golf. You have a 48-hour cooling-off period after booking to cancel by phone or email and receive a full refund of all payments made.
Outside this credits may be applied depending on if you position can be filled or timing of the cancellation.
